The Tenth partners with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for Counterpoint: Mozart & More, an evening where music, conversation, and community come together. Guests will attend a performance led by guest conductor Jörg Widmann, who opens the program with his own spirited composition Con brio. The program continues with Russian violinist Alina Ibragimova, whose fiery technique brings Mozart’s “Turkish” Concerto vividly to life. The evening culminates with Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony, the capstone of his symphonic journey, exuding grandeur, brilliance, and cheery nobility.
Following the performance, Counterpoint ticket holders are invited to a post-performance reception hosted in partnership with The Tenth, with light food and drinks provided, creating space to gather, connect, and reflect on the music.
Guests can purchase a Counterpoint membership to enjoy the series of curated ASO performances, post-concert receptions, and exclusive perks, or purchase individual tickets to the performance and reception.
This event is open to the public, with the post-performance reception included in Counterpoint tickets.
